If you don't have a solid schedule, your needs for the coming week must be given to Alyssa no later than Saturday evening, to guarantee we are able to fit your pet's in during your preferred time frame. Requests coming in later than Saturday could possibly be denied or not completed during your preferred time frame. We schedule on a first come first serve basis and would hate to say no! The sooner we know your needs, the better.
Payment is due at the beginning of the week before services can be rendered. Payment is accepted through PayPal or Venmo, or check and cash can be left at the first scheduled visit of the week.
The sooner you reach out the more likely we will be able to accommodate your needs! We have no minimum or maximum night quantity at this time, however we do require 50% of the total as a deposit to consider your stay scheduled (for bookings lasting more than one night). That deposit will be applied to the total amount of your booking, which is due before services start.
A meet and greet is required for new client's.
Weekly Visit
We understand that life happens and we try to be as flexible as possible around your schedule. We don't charge a cancellation fee if given adequate notice. However, cancellations made after 9am of the day they are scheduled for cannot be refunded. A full credit equal to the cost of the service will be issued for future visits if proper notice is given.
Overnight Pet Sitting
A 50% deposit is due when booking an overnight stay longer than 1 night. Cancellations with 14 days notice prior to departure will receive their deposit back in full. The deposit will not be refunded if less than 14 days notice prior to departure is given.
Please understand that our care providers may have shifted their personal lives around to prepare for staying with your pet's or we may have had to turn down other client's to accommodate you.
Where do I send a Venmo or PayPal payment?
Venmo username is QueenCityPets. Paypal username is QueenCityPetsLLC.
What if I have a family emergency and need to a cancel a visit last minute?
We certainly want to be flexible with our client's and understand that life happens. If you have an emergency, please contact Alyssa and discuss that with her.
Do you walk dogs all year round?
Yes! If your dog doesn't mind the cold weather neither do we. If there is a particularly snowy day walks may be delayed or started earlier so our pet care associates can get to each client safely. We carry water with us on particularly hot days and are mindful about keeping them off of pavement as much as possible.
If I tell you where the spare key is can you walk my dog today?
Sorry, no. We require meet and greets with our clients to properly introduce ourselves to your dog and make sure we are a good fit for each other long term. A strong foundation is built on that initial (FREE) consultation and it's really important to us.
